American women are easy.

At least, that’s what they say. And yes, some Italian men genuinely believe it. They’ve watched the movies, seen the music videos, and somewhere along the way, decided that American women arrive in Europe ready to be swept off their feet and into someone’s bed. (And let’s be honest, some of us do.)

But talk to an Italian man who has actually dated an American woman, and you’ll hear something different.

Because while they might approach us thinking we’re an easy conquest, they quickly realize we are something else entirely. And that? That is what keeps them hooked.
